One of the Spanish government's strategies to reduce energy consumption has been to promote the use of automatic doors in commercial premises and establishments with direct access to the street. At the same time, and because of their continuous exposure to the outside, this type of establishment also requires an extra security component.
To meet both of these demands, at Saxun we are introducing our Ixion Automatic Door System, the most advanced access and security system on the market, which integrates two doors in one single product: a roll-up door and an automatic glass door, both in sliding and telescopic versions.
We are referring to the SL5 and SLT automatic glass door models, which perfectly integrate an extruded aluminium roller shutter slat door, model PS-100 R, which is housed in an Alex 400+450 mm box, also made of extruded aluminium, with a large rolling capacity. In the project we are showing you, a telescopic glass door has been chosen.
This innovative system encompasses both Technology and Design, two necessary qualities for commercial and service establishments, which work directly with the public on a daily basis, with direct access from the outside.

Wall-mounted and wireless controls
The security doors are controlled automatically, allowing efficient management of access to the premises. At Saxun we offer an advanced electronic system, equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor, which allows perfect control of the motor's movements. The settings can be configured via a very simple alphanumeric display, which provides detailed information.
Silent motors
The lack of brushes makes these motors extremely quiet, avoiding any discomfort caused by noise pollution. Given that there is also no transmission box, this is an automatic mechanism that is particularly suitable for environments that need to be very quiet.
What’s more, due to the fact that they have no friction, these motors have a lifespan that is ten times longer than conventional ones, allowing us to offer guarantees for up to five years.
