They have been the choice of the Gran Casino de Castellón for protecting and illuminating the exterior access to its facilities, in an elegant and safe way.
The R-100 louvres offer an adjustable sun protection system for façades, due to their capacity to absorb solar radiation before it reaches the surface of the building. In this way, the captured or reflected heat is dissipated into the atmosphere, with the subsequent energy savings this entails, especially during the warmer times of the year, of which there are many in the city of Castellón, and particularly by the sea where Gran Casino is located.
In this case, the R-100 louvres have been installed in their LED version to provide an elegant beam of light at the entrance of the Casino. An external perimeter enclosure of aluminium slats installed by means of screws on a 40x20 mm guided perimeter profile.
The slat was installed at 90° to the plane of the enclosure with spacing between the slats of 80 mm. It should be noted that the R-100 model can be installed both vertically and horizontally and can be oriented from 0º to 90º; that is, from a closed position to a maximum opening position, in order to make the most of the light and heat from the sun's rays during cold periods of the year.
A vertical installation in wood tones has been chosen. Specifically, a weave has been created with alternating finishes in the colours Dorado, Textured Ember and Golden.
The geometry of the slat enables the installation of an LED light line inside the slat, which allows the lighting to be installed irregularly.
