Over recent years, we’ve significantly changed the way we work and communicate, and, alongside this, the spaces in our working environment. Shared workplaces are gaining ground on traditional office space.
Open places, where we can share synergies and work strategies. Spaces that can be reconverted, at any time, depending on our needs.
To create or recreate these spaces, we’re in need of innovative, cost-effective and versatile solutions, like our
Glass Curtains. Clean, simple and elegant enclosures that allow us to easily open up or close a room.
We have two Glass Curtain models at Saxun, so that these adapt with a personalised touch to each structure: Astron, with sliding panels, and the innovative Azur, a folding option without profiles.
This is the case in this bright and innovative work room, which we’re presenting in this article. We’ve installed an Azur Glass Curtain in the space, so that its large surface area meets the needs of the professionals who work there day to day.
It’s made up of separate glass leaves, which slide towards one end of the enclosure. It’s a simple panel system, with widths ranging from 400 to 1000mm and heights between 500 and 3000mm.
Azur is an enclosure that enables complete visibility, with a clean and simple cut, and thanks to the fact that it doesn’t need profiles on the lower part. It has the option of being installed at ground level, without obstacles, in order to mimic the space.
This effect is achieved with innovative anti-slide fasteners, which offer greater safety and less maintenance for end users. In addition, the glass leaf where the opening/closing door is installed offers five anchorage points, three at the lock and two more at the top and bottom. These are barely visible, merging cleanly with the top and bottom guides (these are simplified with gomme that allows for easy installation and maintenance).
Another benefit of this elegant enclosure is its acoustic insulation capacity, which provides the privacy needed in a work space.
The Azur Glass Curtain doesn’t just adapt to the space to multiply its uses; it also does so in an elegant and customised fashion, since, at Saxun, we offer a wide range of lacquered and anodised aluminium, as well as the option of choosing between transparent, translucent or tinted glass leaves. All with the aesthetics of each project in mind.
Easy installation and better maintenance
Azur is a great ally for installers, as it simplifies the assembly process. This means less time is required, saving costs as a result. The glass leaves are delivered ready for installation, with the fittings already affixed and adjusted. Maintenance is also easier, which is always an advantage for end users, as well as for installers.
An essential part of maintenance is cleaning, which is much easier and more accessible with folding glass leaves.
With an easy installation, you’ll have an elegant and functional solution which adapts to your daily life.
