We renewed the MITECO seal of the Spanish Government

For the third consecutive year, we renewed our MITECO seal, awarded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of the Spanish Government.

 

This recognition highlights our firm commitment to sustainability in our production processes and our contribution to the fight against climate change.

 

The Spanish Government awards this label to companies that calculate their carbon footprint, in recognition of our efforts to reduce emissions and promote real business sustainability.

 

 

Since we obtained the first MITECO seal in 2022, we have worked to maintain and improve our results, which has allowed us to renew it in both 2023 and 2024.

 

This year, the Ministry has once again validated our carbon footprint and our commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

 

In keeping with this commitment to sustainability, we have two photovoltaic plants, expanding our production capacity with renewable energies.

 

In August 2021, we commissioned our first installation of 783 solar panels on an area of 1,740 m² with an output of 352 kWp. A year later, we have expanded this capacity with 754 new panels spread over an additional 1,620 m².

 

Thanks to this commitment to solar energy, we have managed to reduce our carbon footprint by 20%, avoiding the emission of 250 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

 

 

In this line, convinced of the importance of reusing materials and reducing waste, we have also developed an innovative project: we transform awning canvas remnants into exclusive functional bags.

 

This approach not only gives waste a second life, but also reduces our pollutant emissions.

 

In the last year, this project has enabled us to reduce CO2 emissions by 1.24 kg.
