There are temples to gastronomy that maintain their charm thanks to their expertise in the kitchen and customer service, but even these emblematic spaces can improve and increase their value, thanks to our Enclosure and Sun Protection System solutions.
This is the case of the emblematic Xixario Restaurant, located in the town of Orio. The famous Orihuela steakhouse has given a 360º turn to its outdoor terrace and grill area, with the installation of three Bioclimatic Pergolas, six Wind Screens, a Fúlvia tensioned canvas Pergola and an Iras sliding glass curtain enclosure.
Now, its extensive outdoor terrace is much more comfortable and offers diners the comfort they need for their lunches and evening meals, regardless of the season and the heat, cold or rain.
On this legendary terrace, Xixario has been serving its famous grilled sea bream almost every day for more than 60 years. Now, their diners are delighted with the result and are grateful for the new comfort.
Elegance
This historic barbecue had to maintain its identity and blend in with its surroundings. To achieve this, we chose to use the same colour for all the aluminium profiles, both in the three Bioclimatic Pergolas and in the tensioned canvas Pergola, the sliding glass curtain and the Wind Screens.
The textured RAL 8014 was chosen specifically, with an ochre tone that maintains the original aesthetics of the restaurant and its surroundings.
The main covering is made up of three Bioclimatic P-150 Pergolas, which offer protection and natural ventilation, thanks to the orientation of their slats, depending on the time of day. They are complemented by a six-leaf sliding glass curtain, with a central lock, as the main enclosure and entrance to the terrace. Transparent glass finish, personalised with the name and logo of the restaurant.
The large structure of the three Pergolas is protected by the installation of six Wind Screen ZIP solar control systems, model Dante 125. The fabric chosen is a Trend Light Arena 6917, with a transparent screen, to provide more light and visibility when lowered, while maintaining its optimum performance in terms of resistance to strong gusts of wind, durability and safety.
In addition, for the barbecue area, a Fúlvia stretched canvas Pergola was chosen, with Precontraint technical fabric in colour Beige 50539, which is characterised by its great stability and quality, for a longer useful life in this working area.
Lighting
To improve the visibility and use of the terrace both during the day and after dark, LED lighting has been installed . In the case of the Bioclimatic Pergolas, we have opted for interior lighting in the slats, by means of 9 LED strips.
Similarly, three LED strips have also been installed in the tensioned canvas pergola.
Easy assembly
Caterers highlight the speed and agility of this installation and its easy assembly, as it does not require any building work. In this case, it only took a week to get the installation ready.
Remote control
All these solutions are motorised for optimal remote and intelligent control, capable of being controlled from any mobile device or remote control.
